This end of the year, the Sofitel Le Scribe Paris Opéra unveils its signature yule log.
A delight for the eyes and the palate, it represents the historic facade of the hotel located a stone’s throw from the Opéra Garnier.
Antoine Bouchard unveils a sublime yule log bearing the image of the mythical hotel. Its iconic facade comes to life this winter in a gourmet and airy gluten-free dessert with a delicate chocolate-coffee taste. Inspired by its history and its district steeped in art, culture and fashion, the chef wanted to represent the uniqueness of the hotel by reinterpreting the essential Opéra dessert.
Under the crunchy dark chocolate facade hides a delicious brownie biscuit, crunchy coffee, creamy chocolate, Xoco cocoa 70% of pure Nicaragua origin, and coffee caramel, accompanied by coffee cream and a grand cru cappuccino mousse Terre de café Himalayas.
Antoine Bouchard gives his refined and contemporary vision of the Opera dessert, and creates a link between past and present.
